This week the bearded one and our boys had a fall break, I of course, did not. However, that didn’t stop me from taking a day off to soak up the sun and sandy beach snuggles with my favorite people.
I was slightly worried it would be too cold, however, Texas felt like cooperating.
We stayed at our favorite little condo spot but did decide to find a few new places to explore.
When we arrived we checked out Katie’s Seafood and it was delicious. We will definitely be adding it to the list of favorites. After lunch, we walked the Strand then headed over to our condo to unpack and swim.

Our first night we took a walk on the beach and checked out Galveston 61st Pier. The view were beautiful, but the kids were bored so we decided to peep at the water.

The next day we found a local coffee shop for breakfast, loaded up on snacks, then enjoyed the beach for a few hours Our condo had beach chairs, toys, and a wagon for us to borrow which was absolutely fabulous!

We ended the night watching football at Brick House and strolling the seawall.

Overall, we had a great time. I know Galveston sometimes gets a bad rap, however for a quick weekend away it didn’t disappoint.
